All members of HPFD are State Certified Firefighter I & II through the Arizona Center for Fire Service Excellence. All members are trained in Wildland Urban Interface.

All HPFD personnel are Arizona State Certified and Nationally Registered Emergency Medical Technicians or Paramedics. We provide both BLS and ALS services.
All members are trained in extrication.
